like mother like daughter...
from the title itself don't you people think that puteri could bake all by herself too? well ya... i am so proud of her. i hope that she will inherit this passion of mine wisely. go here, here, here and here to view some of the bakes that puteri did.
this time puteri baked chocolate mud cupcakes. earlier she knew that i wanna bake more cupcakes tonight to be sold here. so while i was still at work, i received a sms from her around 7pm telling me that she wished to baked chocolate mud cupcakes herself; with the guidance by her mama of course ;)
so there we are people (refer above pic)... chocolate mud cupcakes (left) and butter cupcakes (right). we have tried the one that puteri baked -- not bad at all. the only thing is that she should have placed the batter approximately 1/2 to 3/4 full of the paper cups, then it should be fulled enough. well i guess its occay for puteri to learn from her mistakes. if i'm not mistaken that was the first time she baked cupcakes though. before this she only helped me to mix the ingredients. whatever it is as usual megat lurves it!!! you know kids... they can't live without chocolate lol... hey! same here tehehee...

kuE's cupcakes sold here
yes people... if you are craving for my cupcakes and happened to be around here, just holla! you can buy them as low as one piece only. but its all depends on your luck though as the cupcakes are selling fast alhamdulillah...
fyi its been almost a week now since i first started to sell my cupcakes at our premise. i just placed them at the cashier' counter, in a clear box covered container (refer pic) for an easy view. that way really attracted our customers ;) the best thing is they were kind of stunned after found out from my cashier of whom the cupcake baker lol... why? tarak percaya ka kikikiii...
well actually i baked some engagement cupcakes for two orders by kay's friend last night. i only frosted the cupcakes early this morning. then as soon as my lil' sis helped me to pack them nicely, she (kay's friend) came to pick-up her order. i was like wahhhhh... i didn't even have the chance to take pics yet!!! so after she left, i quickly sms kay to ask her friend to snap some pics for me. i really hope that she did. once done of course i wanna load them in flickr and here :)
so basically the engagement cupcakes were not that much different from the one in the pic especially in terms of the colour. the one above (refer pic) were some extras that i baked to be sold in our premise.

the 17th dec' birthday cupcakes
my sister and puteri shared the same birth date. so here i am... just uploaded the birthday cupcakes pics in flickr and here. this time with 2.5 sticks butter, i baked approximately half butter and half chocolate cupcakes from it. the trick was, i blended the whole thingy (in other word: ingredients) with mixer as usual. then after i added the flour, i placed half of the batter in a mixing bowl. i used the one in the mixing bowl as my butter cupcakes. while the one in the mixer, i let it to continue mixing for chocolate cupcakes hehe... kewl... i saved some time there ;)
with that, i did two sets of colours for the buttercream frosting. my sister's one was pink and white. as you could see in the pic, one cupcakes missing there. why? i guess i will blog about it later in my main blog. if i carry on writing, i will stuck here for hours lol... tak lah :)
while the other set was for puteri, thats in purple and white. but unfortunately i am so sorry that the pics did not do any justice at all. it looks grey (?) in here.
i placed the birthday cupcakes in two cupcake tiers that i bought at ICCA, the same day i attended christmas cupcakes class. it looks so cute and presentable, even auntie yan asked me to buy for her too, if happened i go there again ;)
since the new cupcake tier only can fit 13 cupcakes, i placed the rest of the cupcakes in other cake tiers that we bought during last raya.
all in all, i am glad that everyone loves my cupcakes. some of the guest even asked me whether they could bring some home ;)
...topped with cream cheese frosting. its sooo yummy, that not just kids love them, but adults too! recipe found from here.
it was my first time baking red velvet cupcakes. previously i always saw pictures of them in my flickr cupcakes group. i could say that i have been sooo eager to try it one day. so here we are, on my mom's 59th birthday, no birthday cupcakes, but only this. i am gonna bake birthday cupcakes tonight anyway for puteri and my sis' birthday tomorrow.
eventually who ever came to me would say this-- "hah?!!... its sooo... red!!!", thats include both puteri and megat, and my sister hehee... yes she's here, since we came back from kl that sunday night, after watched the jazz show of live & loud '07 on a friday.
btw back to the 'red colour cupcakes', normally only cupcake bakers are aware about this type of cupcakes ;) like i said earlier, adults love it too including me! its sooo yummy... especially when the cupcakes really blend well with the cream cheese frosting. it was my first time making that type of frosting too. lurve it! it was very nice. even my cousin sarah whose also a doctor, ate the whole thingy with no worries at all of her diet :P
