with effective today, we will post this kind of posting where we will blog about the best blogs that we found while blogging i.e. blog-hopping.
the best of this week's blogs by the bloggers who blog them. highlighting the top 3 posts as chosen by 'kuE's picks' participants. want in kuE's picks #2? submit a link by using this form. if we like them (the blogs you picked) too, then we will definitely post about them and mentioned that you are the one who recommended those to us.
happy cakes blog by joanna johan “i stumbled into her blog while blog-hopping recently and found that her cupcakes were awesome! check them out too will ya? i have just send two invites for her to join two cupcake groups on flickr. i really hope that she accepted the invites and post her cupcake pics soon.”
daisy cakes “she was trolling the internet when she came across "52cupcakes". since then she has started to get into baking. i love her cupcakes pics, along with recipes too!”
its CNY! as you all may already knew by now, we baked butter cupcakes to be given-away. since a friend married today too, so we prepared two boxes of those. the best thing was that the cuppies finished within a blink. even my friend didn't have the chance to eat them. "its alright dear, i will bake more specially for you when i have the free time. then you could enjoy the cuppies all by yourself."
kuE's note: i guess you must have been realized that i love to do the border pattern (what is it called huh?!!) on my cupcakes so much... it makes them cute! like the one in the pic, i just add three tiny sugar hearts.
we prepared five boxes of cupcakes today specially for our chinese creditors and friends as a gift instead of hampers. i got two of my staff to deliver three of them. while i will give the rest myself tomorrow. i dunno how's the customer's reaction. i just hope that they like our cupcakes. i will see what my staff got to say about it ;)
as you could see, i wrote in chinese characters this time with the help of megat. so if i was wrong, do not blame me! rotfl... anyhow megat did correct me on the way i wrote it (chinese characters). it seems there's a right way of stroking which is which first. then i told him that for me, as long as it looks like it, takpe... ;)

butter cream icing vs buttercream frosting
today we baked cupcakes again (and again)! lol... well actually we wanted to bake some cuppies for my cousin yasmin whose celebrating her 4th birthday tomorrow. hmm... i guess i will post yasmin's cupcakes pics tomorrow also yea... and as usual, we used some of the extra cupcakes as trial for us to decorate them. eventually the pattern that i did this time was exactly the same one like our shortbread biscuits except that this time it was a bit tiny ;)
kuE's note: for me, i prefer buttercream frosting instead, since i first tried it a few weeks ago. the texture was of course more soft and easy to pipe-out. you could see the difference here and here for butter cream icing. how about you—what's your choice?
