The idea of creating this blog is especially for our baking hobby and anything got to do with cooking. We hope that you will be enjoying it too as much as we do ;)
our last post was like almost 12 days ago. that means that was also the last time we baked together. no wonder we were like missed doing it so much ;)
while blog-hopping, i read about a blogger who baked banana walnut muffins from some bananas left in her kitchen. i thought that it sounded good. so i googled for the recipe and found one from RecipeLand.com. this time i let puteri did everything, while i just sat there and guide her. puteri seldom like to eat fruit. but she loves this one so much. i like it too. the texture was kinda a bit moist... hmm... love it!
hmm... looks like puteri has up-dated earlier than me ;)
i was invited to the teacher's club party for 2006 of puteri's school today. so eventually puteri helped me to bake butter cupcakes with butter icing last night. since i am still not good in icing decorating, i just did a simple one i.e. spread the butter icing on the cupcakes; then i just sprinkled some sugar rice on top. i brought those to school as a gift for the teachers. we are so glad that they (teachers) love our cupcakes so much, that they brought some home :D
as soon as we completed baking the cupcakes, puteri started to bake muffins with me as her guidance. didn't i tell you that puteri has started to love baking too?
Last night I helped my mother to bake some cupcakes. Then we made Royal Chocolate Muffin. It was actually from a 500gm packet of muffin mix that we bought from a shop selling almost all the baking needs in Kota Damansara. We just need to add water, melted butter, eggs and chocolate (you can also substitute the chocolate chip with other stuff like bananas, mixed fruits, strawberries and many more). Here we used white chocolate chips. My titik (its mandarin for lil' brother) and I love the muffin so much. It was kind of moist. Nice.

yes! its like a trend these days, that cupcakes are the 'in' thingy no matter where ever you are in the world. we didn't want to be left out too. so we baked some cuppies for puteri's class party today. at first we thought of writing an invidual names of the classmates, with butter icing on each cupcakes. unfortunately dunno what when wrong as we were not able to make it. so we just end up with a very simple one though ;)
actually i've been longing to try to decorate the cuppies as good as these—

and many many more... fyi all those pics featured here were all taken from the group World of MUFFINS & CUPCAKES that i joined in flickr. they were all my inspirations. well... i guess maybe someday... yes, someday... ;)
we baked chocolate chip cookies for our special friends in kl when we went there during the weekend. of course we baked them (the cookies) here in kuale and brought them with us to kl. now you know of why we didn't update this post earlier last week. it was a surprise for them. so it won't be a surprise if we posted this before we went to kl right?
to all of you my dear friends (you know who you are), we hope that you like the cookies as much as we love baking them, from the deep of our truly heart. hugs!
