The idea of creating this blog is especially for our baking hobby and anything got to do with cooking. We hope that you will be enjoying it too as much as we do ;)
...that our small business from home is picking up--
these set of birthday cupcakes are for our TAM (of course the N7 team is paying me hehe...). we gonna do a surprise for him tomorrow, during our buka puasa meet in ipoh. we'll see how it goes ;) ermm... how i love to surprise people and make them happy. do not forget to read my main blog for the updates.
while these sets of cupcakes are orders made for jen nee of rentokil (left) and liling of our ISO (right). for those who dunno, its been a while since i didn't do this pattern, that is like our signature. to view more pics with this pattern/design, type 'trademark' on the top left corner of the blog page. after that click 'search blog', then... voila! ;)
i was blog hopping few days ago when i saw this that really inspired me to try a hand on it. at first i thought that its a great idea for deepavali. but since i was gonna bake some cupcakes for little miss kechik... hey! why not -- on another thought, let me give myself a try on that design at the same time too ;) *phew* terketor-ketor jugak ler lol...
so what do you think people? ok or not :D
and here it is--
a box of 9 cupcakes, packed, and all ready for little miss kechik! we just hope that you will like it. anyway c ya!...
check-out our new cupcakes rings people -- that we bought from maggie t at gurney plaza, about two weeks ago. cute tak? i know, i know... am supposed to complete the story about my grandma's surprise birthday. don't worry people. no matter what it is, soon or later, i will still update more about it at my main blog. as for me, i am posting this now, as i only realized about it when i was browsing thru my pictures file just now ;)

the 'Q' of our cupcakes
as mentioned earlier in my main blog, we were in ipoh to deliver some samples of raya cupcakes for kay. we took the chance to drop-by kinta city while we were there. we also bought more baking stuff for the upcoming raya seasons, to fulfill the orders.
we care a great deal about quality of our cupcakes! as you could see from the pic, those are three of the main items/products that we use i.e. quality ingredients like MFM self raising flour and castor and icing sugar by gula prai, also fresh eggs from a local market and fresh milk by dutch lady. thats the best! if i can't get them, i would rather don't do any baking at all. so now you all know of how important it is for us to get a good type of ingredients for baking. while for butter, we use anchor brand (formerly fernleaf). we do not use trans fatty oils or preservatives. we really care about the quality of what we serve you. in fact, you will often see us eating our cupcakes and sampling frostings. while it’s a great perk, we all do this to make sure what we are serving is exactly what it should be! we think you will taste the quality. these cupcakes are the real deal!

i reached home today with another great smell of cookies hmm... yummy!!!... this time puteri baked double chocolate chunk cookie mix by betty crocker (again).
its more easy than the one puteri did recently. you will only need to add 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 2 tbsp water and 1 egg together with the cookie mix, that's all! only that its a bit sweeettttt... ;)

betty crocker, chocolate chip cookie mix
i was just stepping in to the house from work earlier, when i smelled hmm... chocolate chip cookies!!! yummy... this time puteri tried the chocolate chip cookie mix by betty crocker. actually we bought that quite sometime ago at cold storage, ikano power center. the thing was when i took the package, i didn't read the labels properly that i thought its chocolate chips. i only realized it when puteri told me that it was easy - she just need to stir 1 stick of softened butter and 1 egg in to the cookie mix until soft dough forms, then walla!...
yummy...
its so crispy and perfect to eat with a glass of milk
